Once Upon a Time in Rues

As I mentioned in a previous post, some LARPing friends of mine decided they wanted to do a storybook version for their character backgrounds in Numina. I loved the idea, especially for animal-hybrid type characters, since they evoke that fairy tale feeling of children’s books, such as Redwall and Disney’s Robin Hood. (Although, I also think that it’s good to have a plain text version for staff to references; I’ve heard LARP writers object to fancy fonts and such.) I agreed to illustrate it.

It’s not my best artwork- it was a bit rushed, and I was trying to imitate a cartoon style I’ve never really done before. But people seemed to like it well enough, and I may soon be illustrating PELs as well.

But if you’re curious, here’s a link.
