Intercon PSAs

As members of our con staff have been excitedly noting, we’ve broken our old record for number of attendees. We’re already at over 350, and history indicates we should expect more. Which means, of course, that we’d love to have more LARPs!

If you’ve got a LARP you’ve written, or one in the works, please bid it to Intercon!

Every LARP that runs at Intercon gets two memberships comped, so you and a co-GM can go free!

There are also free LARPs available for anyone to run, if you’re not a writer. Our con-chair has put together a few possibilities here.

Most LARPs run at Intercon are 4 hour theater style- however, we do often run LARPs of all different types (including Jeep, Nordic-style, and boffer, all of which are featured on the current schedule) and lengths (some LARPs are 1 hour in legnth, some 2, some 6 or 8 or more.)

Also, I serve Intercon as the Raffle Coordinator. Every year at the Con Wrap, we raffle off prizes and the proceeds help run future Intercons. All donors (who donate prizes worth $25 dollars or more) get ad space in our con booklet, so donating is a great way to advertise and reach over 300 enthusiastic LARPers and gamers. We frequently get donations from people who sell LARPing props, costuming and accessories, boffer weapons, books, indie board games and RPGs. Some people donate in the form of gift certificates to book stores or gaming stores or geek stores.

We also do exchanges of memberships with other conventions, so if you work on the staff of another convention or know of one that might want to donate a comped membership to our raffle (and might like a membership to ours for theirs) please let me know!

Interested in donating and/or advertising in our con booklet? You can reply here, or email me at raffle@intercon-m.org.
