SLAW 2015 is Looking for LARPs!

Bit late as far as these announcements on this blog go, but here it is…

The dates for SLAW 2015 have been announced — Friday the 13th (auspicious, no?) of November through Sunday the 15th, and there’s a theme: What Could Go Wrong?

(…Is that not already the theme for almost every LARP ever?)

For those who don’t know, SLAW stands for SFS Live Action Weekend, and it’s a weekend of free LARPs, mostly of the theater variety (but I’m hoping boffer will make another appearance, like it did last year with The Trouble With Turnips.) SLAW runs at WPI (Worcester Polytech Institute, in Worcester, MA.) Registration is free and open to the general public. Limited crash space is available upon request.

Like Intercon, SLAW has tiered signups. The signup schedule is as follows:

On Wednesday, October 14th, you can sign up for one game at 7pm.
On Thursday, October 15th, you can sign up a second at 7pm.
On Friday, October 16th, you can sign up for all the games you like, (but still only one per time slot.)
Signups will available on the SLAW website here.
And SLAW is currently accepting game bids! You can bid a LARP by filling out this form. The deadline is Oct. 12. (Bids received after the 12th may still be added to the schedule, but may receive fewer signups.)
You can also join the Facebook group here to help spread the word.

Hope to see you there!
