Festival of the LARPs 2016

Festival of the LARPs, Brandeis University’s annual weekend of LARPing, is looking for LARPs!

This year, Festival is running April 1-3, and in honor of its 11th year, the theme is heavy metal. (It goes to 11!)*

The bid form can be found here. Festival is looking for all styles and genres of LARPs. If you don’t have a LARP of your own to bid but would like to run one or help someone else run one, contact this year’s con chair (or comment here on the post) and someone will either help you find a LARP to run (there’s a growing library of LARPs here, by the way) or put you in touch with a GM who would appreciate assistance running their LARP.

Festival is also currently looking for volunteers to help out as GM Liaison, Housing Coordinator, and someone to run con suite, so check out the website for more information on volunteering.

I wouldn’t mind more boffer LARPing this year, especially if the weather is nice! What would you be happy to see at Festival 2016?

*The Festival theme, like the Intercon theme, is mostly selected for the sake of promotional art. If you have a LARP to bid that fits the theme, great! If you have a LARP to bid that does not fit the theme, that’s equally great!
